Michelle C. • March 31, 2013Great place to watch the sunrise! Gorgeous view of Phoenix plus lots of different hiking trails to choose from.
Jessi S. • November 13, 2013If you are looking for a relaxing hike, filled with beautiful sites to see, this is the right trail! But, make sure to allot at least three hours if you plan to go all the way to the top.
Ashley B. • December 5, 2018This is a great moderate trail with hills and valleys! If you hike over the hump, it will lead you to the back parking lot for Squaw Peak! Always bring lots of water!
Heidi E. • July 20, 2011There's a top-secret path on the South side of North mountain. Climb the hidden stair case at the end of Central and keep heading up. It connects to the paved path at the top of N. Mountain.
Chuck C. • June 15, 2015Great paved hike. Short and sweet, great for a date hike. Otherwise try running up for a good sweat.
Jenn A. • August 24, 2013This is one of my top favorite 3 places to run/hike. Careful of coyotes and flying ants at the top!!! Also, there's many trails and really fun until you get lost. Not much shade here on sunny days.
Alan • October 22, 2014Awesome hike, beautiful scenery, like everyone says, bring lots of water. A must do!
Chris W. • September 29, 2016Great hikes only if you're in great shape. Both trails are the hardest in Phoenix. Don't come near sunset because the trail closes at sunset year round. Dogs aren't allowed.
natasha h. • February 28, 2013Go anytime of the day, there is shade everywhere so it doesn't get too hot when you are working on your fitness
🌵Andrew K. • April 20, 2015Off the beaten path trail entrance that delivers a much better than expected experience. Mostly rocky trail and fairly rigorous from the get go. Great way to get to Hidden Valley and Fat Man's Pass.
Garrett K. • February 16, 2013Great hikes all around!! bring some water snacks and enjoy the surroundings.
Michelle S. • April 22, 2018Coolest trail with the most shade. Lots of frogs in the pond. Best trail for saguaro cactus. Make sure to pound some pods and taste the sweet flour.
Andy M. • June 27, 2014Just a wonderful hike. Right amount of hard parts and a wonderful reward at the end.
Hannah • November 18, 2013A great, less crowded alternative to Piestawa Peak or Camelback Mountain. Get to the top, enjoy some trail mix and the beautiful view. Especially if there have been winter rains!
asegay • March 28, 2012Need a gateway from the streets and traffic lights? Come to the Peak to enjoy nature on a nice day. Perhaps try using the restroom before going on your hike and of course bring WATER!
